Come join us at BodyZen Fitness for a fitness experience like no other.  Bodyzen Boot Camp is dedicated to providing a road to elite fitness for all people. Bodyzen Boot Camp is appropriate for everyone from world-class rock climbers or mountain bikers to firefighters and law enforcement professionals to everyday persons seeking general fitness or even elders who wish to preserve their ability to live independently. For elite athletes, Bodyzen Boot Camp provides a solid base from which to develop skills particular to your needs. There is tremendous crossover of the functional skills and movements we train to human performance in all areas of athletic endeavor. For the rest of us, Bodyzen Boot Camp improves health and general conditioning more than other programs. The functional skills and movements we train in are useful in your everyday life and will change your body far more than those at the traditional gym or boot camp. You don’t need to be in shape to come to Bodyzen Boot Camp; you get in shape by coming to Bodyzen Boot Camp!  You DO NOT have to be able to do a pullup, a handstand pushup or be able to climb a rope to begin! We have modifications for each and every exercise.

Far different than your typical aerobics, step, or spinning class, this is your chance to "go in, train hard and go home".  Our Bodyzen Boot Camp classes are about 40-50 minutes and consist of several components:  Warm up, skill practice, movement prep & stretching, followed by the workout . We place a heavy emphasis on mechanics and form to ensure your confidence, safety, and results. You'll be challenged with athletic, functional exercises, bodyweight calisthenics, kettlebell exercises, weightlifting, and cardiovascular conditioning. Don't worry, if you're just getting yourself back into shape and think that it could be too hard, remember that all our workouts are "scalable" based on your level. We regularly make adjustments in the number of repetitions, the amount of weight, and the distance so that everyone can participate!  Please don't feel intimidated by just looking at the website!

Every boot camp session includes a basic fitness assessment, body composition analysis and nutritional counseling.  We are the guaranteed lowest priced boot camp in the Tucson area and offer the largest range of class times!

These classes are for EVERYONE!  No matter if you exercised yesterday or 10 years ago.  All workouts are scaled to your individual fitness level and abilities.

Through this training program you will develop in all facets of fitness including improved strength, endurance, power, speed, flexibility, balance, and agility.  A well-rounded physical capability is the ultimate objective!

An effective approach

In gyms and health clubs throughout the world the typical workout consists of isolation movements and extended aerobic sessions. The fitness community from trainers to the magazines has the exercising public believing that lateral raises, curls, leg extensions, sit-ups and the like combined with 20-40 minute stints on the stationary bike or treadmill are going to lead to some kind of great fitness. Well, at Bodyzen Fitness we work exclusively with compound movements and shorter high intensity cardiovascular sessions. We’ve replaced the lateral raise with push-press, the curl with pull-ups, and the leg extension with squats. For every long distance effort our campers will do five or six at short distance. Why? Because compound or functional movements and high intensity or anaerobic cardio is radically more effective at eliciting nearly any desired fitness result. Startlingly, this is not a matter of opinion but solid irrefutable scientific fact and yet the marginally effective old ways persist and are nearly universal.  Bodyzen Boot Camp endeavors to bring effective, up to date coaching techniques to the general public and athletes who haven’t access to current technologies, research, and coaching methods.
